Ginger Pepper Tea / Chai



Ingredients:
Ginger
1 inch
Pepper Corns
5
Tea Leaves / Powder
½ tes
Sugar / Palm Sugar / Panakarkandu
1 tbs

Procedure:
1. Peel the skin of the ginger and crush it.
2. Crush the pepper corns.
3. Heat 1 1/2  cup of water in a pan. Once it starts boiling, add  the crushed ginger and peppercorns. Cover it and keep it in a low flame till the water level comes to 1 cup.
4. Then add tea leaves and bring to boil for a minute.
5. Then strain the tea and add sugar. Mix it well and take it hot.
It provides relief for cold and severe cough. Many  people use drink to soothe sore throats.
